Q. Question?
I am looking for a hotel with a private jacuzzi or hot tub, in the lake district or northwest england. We are looking to stop this week so need suggestions pretty quick lol! help!!! :D
Hotel names pref please thanks.
A. Best Answer: Decide a smaller area in the Lake District or a Town/City in the N.W. then find the contact details of the relevant "Tourist Information Office" on the internet, and ask the experts on the spot.
They will be able to give you plenty of other details about your holiday area, such as "Things to Do", "Places to See and Visit" at the same time.
Q. Question?
Inside the guest room and also the public area (such as the garden etc). God, Ciggy is not Narcotic! They charge me tax! Wat Da Ph!
A. Best Answer: You won't find one. Smoking is illegal inside all public buildings including all hotels. The only public building where it's still legal to smoke inside is the bar in the House of Commons.
Q. Question?
I am looking to stay a couple nights in Ambleside, Bowness and or Windermere. Does anyone know of any cheap hotels in the area?
What are the best websites to look-up and compare prices of hotels in the Lakes?
Cheers for any help.
A. Best Answer: I live in Kendal not far from windermere most hotels are quite dear but some of the b&b's are reasonable there is a travel inn in kendal and one on the outskirts both within 20mins travel time of windermere bowness and ambleside.Try go lakes website and lakeland radio website
Q. Question?
would you please tell me which is the best place to visit in lake district?
A. Best Answer: Anywhere in the lake district is a good place to stop. There is so many things to do! =)
Keswick would be a really nice place to stop, there is plenty to do with many shops, cafe's and so on. It's really nice to go down to the waters edge and feed the ducks. We feed them with bread =)
I would also reccomend checking out the following too:
. Whinlatter forest (there are plenty of walks and cycling routes and if you are with children there are also some walks especially for children including the 'fox trot', 'rabbit run' and I can't remember the other ones) - This forest is near Keswick
- Grizedale Forest is also amazing! =) There are sculptures you can find on the trail. In the car park there is a huge sculpture of a woodcutter man! =) its so good!
-Borrowdale is a nice little area. It's just part of the river, it's very nice on a sunny day.
-Askham Outdoor Swimming pool is also very nice.
If you would like anymore reccomendations just ask =) You can e-mail me =)

Q. Question?
Fell mere is mentioned, although in my search of the net, I can only find hotels in Ambleside. Can anyone shed more light than this?
A. Best Answer: Source link extract:
? The Baskerville Dining Experience (+44 (0)1822 880386, baskerville-experience.co.uk/dining) costs £85 per head, which includes a carriage ride, dinner and drinks. Stay at the nearby Beechwood B&B (+44 (0)1822 880332, beechwood-dartmoor.co.uk), which can usually transport you to and from Lafter Hall.
Q. Question?
i dont even know which is the trsain station, tried finding help on net but cldnt get the right info. How do I book hotels and train tickets and how mcuch advance time is needed to book them. I heard there are diff travel fares for diff dates here.
A. Best Answer: If your on a smaller budget, your cheapest option to get there is by coach:
www.nationalexpress.com
They run a good service if you have time on your hands, and it is a fraction of the cost of a train journey.
You could head to Windermere or Kendal or Keswick for a good starting point. Or Ambleside or Grasmere for more scenery.
